JK Lasser’s Income Tax Books are very good. Very comprehensive. This is a great book for eggheads like me, and people who like researching and investigating their subject. Read this book… you’ll know something! It will also improve reading skills. Anyone can get whatever information they are looking for regarding personal and business tax returns. However, I don’t recommend this to the casual user. This is a book for the professionals because it is so comprehensive. It may overwhelm the casual reader. However if you are anything like I’ve described above—researching, investigative mind with a need to know—then this is the book for you! I’ve bought these books yearly for my personal library as a tax professional and I use them in my business.
