  1. It provides the usual memorable cartoons, useful summaries, and thoughtful commentary. Unlike some of the others, like Constitutional Law, I would not rely on the Summaries alone though – there is far too much stuff in the afternotes that obviously cannot be analyzed by the book alone.

    But if you like HCCS, I recommend it highly. Its an excellent introduction, and helps you cut through much of the legal verbiage to hone in on what you need to know.

    This is the first time I purchased a case summary book like this. It is good for a quick read to get all the meat of the case. The black letter rulings are great for getting the law out of sometimes murky business transactions, especially if you don’t have a business background. However, if your professor really likes you to get the business story out of the case, beyond the legal, I would recommend also reading the case.

    I would buy it again.
